Warp.
Occult.
You Channel your power into a single target to knit flesh and mend bones. You may only use this power on a willing target, including yourself. The target of this power recovers 1d5 points of damage (removing critical first).
Repeated uses of this power can be dangerous, however, not to mention painful, and the persons flesh rebels against the intrusion of warp energy. If a person (including the Psyker) is the subject of this power more than once in a 6 hour period, they must Test Toughness or take 1d5 points of Damage rather than being healed.
Inflict Pain
You cause a person to be wracked with agony, filling their minds with unspeakable pain. The target is entitled to a Willpower Test to resist the effects of this power. On a failed Test, the target suffers a -10 to all their Tests as they struggle to control their pain
Overbleed: For every 10 points by which you succeed the Threshold you can extend the effects of this power to another target.

History
Praetus Corvus still struggles everyday with his role as an Imperial Psyker in service to the Inquisition. Raised by the Adaptes Sororitas, his life was meant to be one of ease, with access to power and wealth. During the training that would make him a Famulous Protege, it was discovered that not only was Praetus gifted externally (through meticulous breeding) but his mind possessed keen gifts of their own.
There was no opportunity to protest. His gift was shared with the Imperium and soon the dark ships retrieved him and headed for Holy Terra – and the tests that would change his life forever. There have been times when he wished that he simply had been taken by the warp or died. The nightmares still lurk on the edges – threatening to take him once and for all. He was deemed gifted and sent to work with the inquisition. It is not the assignment he expected – but there are little expectations left now.
There is no questioning service to the Imperium or the Emperor. Graveyards are littered with the remains of those who would question the choices of the Imperium and its God-Emperor. Praetus’ training and keen mind have allowed him to adapt. He will work for the Inquisition – knowing that this will most likely not be the last step on his journey.
Personality
Praetus is quiet and thoughtful. He is likely to let others take the lead, but will offer an opinion when asked. Unlike many Psykers, he is at ease with other people and comfortable dealing with a variety of personalities. His good looks and scrupulous training provide ample opportunities for him to access information that might not be so readily available to others. He is distant and often accused of being arrogant. While not quick to judge others, Praetus holds on to what might have been and still considers himself to be somewhat above it all.
It isn’t personal, he is simply better than you on a genetic level. If you have complaints you may register them with the Adaptes Sororitas.
Appearance
Praetus is thin, trim and in excellent shape, standing 1.85m tall and weighing in at 75kg. His skin is dark and he has dark blonde hair, and his eyes are a piercing blue. He carries himself with an air of confidence – as if he expects that things in the world will simply work out.
