After an unknown time period of entertaining xenos scum in the elder fighting arena, Dume encounters a group of strangers with big plans to start a riot and make a real break for freedom. Being skeptical at first, Dume is eventually impressed enough by the groups determination and resource fullness that he falls into the groups plans and makes a point to stick closely to these newcomers. After the initial riot and breakout, Dume accompanies the group to a tower that supposedly anchors the planned escape vehicle with explosives meant to destroy the power sources necessary to free the ship from its mooring.

During their incursion into the xenos tower the group passes through a deathworld garden where Dume suspects he inhaled some deadly spores that found root in his lungs, the group eventually makes its way through the tower and plants the detonation charges successfully despite heavy opposition. After the resulting explosions the group makes its way to the void ship “Soul Reaver” and gets ambushed by eldar that warp into the bridge space while the team investigates. After a trying and bloody battle the eldar assailant gets buried under a hail of gunfire laid down by Dume and Bishop…
